Starting Again!

So I decided to start a running blog for myself only to help track what I am doing and when I find good articles about running I can save them all here! I get tired of trying to log my runs one spot and then save running magazines with tons of pages dog tagged to remember why I saved it! I would rather keep it all in one spot!

I have been running for almost 2 years now and the most I have done is 7 and half miles! Not a lot when I want to run a marathon one day but I will get there! I just started up running again after taking 5 months off and it SUCKS!! I know you loose it so fast so starting again isn't the greatest! We moved and I had surgery so I wasn't able to fit it in! I did finally get to go outside and run the other day because the weather is FINALLY cooling off here and it felt amazing!! I ran 3.4 miles in 37 min. Not the best but the first time in months outside. I have done a few 2 milers on the treadmill but going outside felt so much better! I love it so much and I miss it like crazy!! Seriously ever time I see people outside when it is hot I think first, your crazy because it is so dang hot but second I feel a little jealous that I'm not out there. I'm a wimp when it comes to heat! NO THANKS! Good for them they can run in the heat but not me! I feel like I'm going to pass out just getting in and out of my car when going to the store! So running in that heat, no thanks!

I am going to start training in a few weeks for my first half and I'm super excited!! I've done the 5k's & 10k's and now I want bigger and farther!! I want to be faster as well! I can't wait to start training hard core and I'm glad I'm getting back into it because like I said, I really do love it! I love how you are in your own world and your own thoughts and it is just you and the road! Nothing stopping you but yourself! You can go as far as you like and as long as you want! It is in a sense relaxing and peaceful, even with music blaring! So starting now I will keep all my logs on here and I will start adding different articles and tips on running that I want and need to remember!
